What word hive Engenders

Our work engenders a few basic principles:

• Enable space & settings for people to open to poetry 

• Support people in expressing themselves with poetry 

• Encourage people TO DO POETRY

• Foster the blending of the arts

• Engage the public locally

• Educate communities toward the value of the arts

Our activities include public (and virtual) poetry readings, poetry workshops, collaborative ventures with other local artists, publication of works of poetry and art, volunteering to bring poetry into other community settings (schools, civic groups, religious organizations), community arts projects, building an appreciation of artistic synergy, supporting local artists, writing grants for community-based programming.
