Local Collaborations

 A part of our mission is collaboration with the local community.  This collaboration may happen in many forms.  Currently, our Executive Director, Glinda Johnson-Medland is looking to work with local youth organizations to bring poetry programming into their spaces.  

While spotlighting role models and mentors in the historic and present poetic community, we also seek to develop a synergy that will help children and youth find a voice in poetry, writing, and other arts.  

The ARTS are a means and a way of self discovery, but also of positive community engagement.  An arising from within.  The ARTS bring people together.  These are a few of the resources we have.
